Did you know that Florida has the second highest number of wildfires in the United States? With huge amounts of undeveloped land as well as dry temperatures, Florida is unfortunately the perfect breeding ground for wild fires.
When these brush fires start, they become very difficult to contain and can end up spreading pretty quickly. Just in the past week, two brush fires have hit Stuart, FL.
The first fire started on March 12, 2014 and spanned a 115-acre area. What started out as a controlled fire by a professional clearing company eventually spread to an uncontrolled fire that led to road closures on both Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 95.
Just three days after the first fire, another brush fire hit Martin County on March 16, 2014 and affected another 30 acres of land. Unfortunately, this second fire forced a handful of families to evacuate their homes due to flying embers.

What does a Public Insurance Adjuster do?
An easier way to understand what a Public Insurance Adjuster does is to think of us like a claims advocate. Initially, we review your insurance policy and provide expert advice on what your legal rights are.
Next, we personally inspect damages and provide your insurance provider with a complete and detailed claim. This claim includes repair estimates and provides the physical appraisal of all damaged property.
If needed, our experts will also fight to support and negotiate the claim should any issues arise.
During this process, we keep you in the loop and informed of any settlement updates thus relieving you of any stress and hardship.
